"This hotel is a wonderful place to stay in The Walled City, Cartagena."

"Bitch, where's my champagne?"

We stayed at the Townhouse for a few nights before we left on our sailing adventure to Panama and were very happy with the service, food, and amenities The Townhouse had to offer. The bed was a little soft for Peter, but it is in a great location and the rooftop pool and bar were much needed after a morning of walking around the hot streets of Cartagena.

We were able to utilize the rooftop everyday, to write, work on Hannah's photography business, and relax next to the pool and cool off. The pool isn't huge, so don't expect to swim laps, but its great to dip your feet in and sip on a tropical drink. A major plus for Hannah was that they supplied you with high quality toiletries from a fancy soap store we walked into earlier in the week.

There is an English-speaking host at the front desk at all hours of the day and night, and tapas and drinks available for purchase on the rooftop every afternoon. Breakfast was complementary with our stay, and included coffee, juice, fresh fruit, and either eggs or yogurt & granola.

After we checked out, we were able to keep our bags in a safe place and hang out on the rooftop until we had to leave to catch the boat at 8pm. All in all, it was a great experience, and we would definitely love to stay here again in the future!
