6 Tips for Renting a Camper Van

So you've decided to rent a campervan in New Zealand. Good choice!! Here are a few tips to think about when choosing your van and route.

1. Get the Campermate app! You can use it offline, and with your phones GPS can use it like a map to get to your site!

2. There are many many different camper van companies, think about how big of a van you can drive and feel comfortable driving. We used Euro Campers and were very satisfied with their services!

3. Have a tentative plan on places you want to see while in your camper van, but allow for unforeseen circumstances and be flexible!

4. Reserve your van months in advance, sometime if you reserve it early enough you can get a discount if you pay all up front.

6. Be thinking about how to keep you and your clothes dry. It rains a lot in the South Island!
